Katapult have just won the coveted Best Digital Media Strategy at this year’s DADI Awards! The Awards ceremony - held at The Royal Armouries Leeds for The Drum magazine - is held annually as a celebration for excellence in new media and the digital creative industries in the UK
The Best Digital Media Strategy was awarded to Katapult for the ‘Curious’ campaign for the University of Salford. Acclaimed both nationally and internationally, ‘Curious’ is designed to drive engagement, awareness and recruitment amongst prospective undergraduate students. To date, the game has attracted over 1.5 million players, generating traffic to the University of Salford website and helping to achieve exposure for the brand in key international markets as well as in the UK.
The DADI awards were established to give digital companies the chance to achieve recognition in 30 categories. Phil Jones, Chair of the Judging Panel and CEO of Real Time Consultancy comments: “The quality of the entries to the 2nd DADI Awards, speaks for itself. The digital terrain is still under construction, and it’s a brave new world that is emerging as a result of smart, sophisticated design, exemplified by the DADI Award winners. As a Northerner, it was a privilege to lead the panel of judges, and along with the high standard of work entered, we were equally impressed with the large turnout from the digital community at the awards evening in Leeds.”
