Following a pitch, Katapult were appointed to develop a third consecutive television campaign for the University of Derby to drive applications from prospective students of all ages for undergraduate, post-graduate, vocational, full and part-time courses.
The strategy was to prompt the target audience to consider how they could benefit from studying at the University of Derby by highlighting some of its success stories and merchandising these as firm proof that it enables many people to realise their ambitions, create opportunities and lead the lives they want to live.
The ad features graduates and current students describing how the University of Derby has helped them both professionally and personally, highlighting the incredible support given to students by lecturers and staff. As well as producing the ad, Katapult also filmed extended interviews with all the participants and made these available online and on DVD.
