Kudu v.5.0 is Katapult’s Content Management System and provides the platform for most of the websites that we develop. As a fully featured website management system, Kudu makes it easy for website owners to manage and control content.

Easy to use

Taking the best aspects of the familiar Windows interface and the latest conventions of web page design, Kudu can be used by most PC users straight away and with minimal training. It is as easy to use as the most intuitive website. Kudu allows the website owner to log into an administration system on the web using a unique username and password and add, edit and delete pages or parts of pages. The system employs a WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editor that should be familiar to most PC users; this allows the content to be formatted and arranged like a Word Processor document.

Secure, flexible & scalable

Kudu is built on a technology platform that is secure, flexible and scalable – websites developed using Kudu can easily be expanded and new functionality can be added when required beyond the initial development.

The core system incorporates functionality that makes it easy to manage and control content. For example, website owners can set up different administrators with different privileges in terms of their ability to edit, add and delete content. New sections, pages and forms can easily be created and are automatically added to the relevant navigation and structure.

As a modular based content management system, we can manage the development of further modules to deliver any additional functionality that is required, e.g. eCommerce, forums, email marketing, or the system can be configured to integrate with modules developed by a third party developer.
