Derbyshire Wildlife Trust 50th Anniversary Competition

Derbyshire Wildlife Trust 50th Anniversary Logo
Derbyshire Wildlife Trust

As keen supporters of Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, they recently asked us to judge a school competition to find a logo design to promote the 50th Anniversary.

The competition was open to pupils in Year 11 and a number of Derbyshire schools were invited to take part. The Katapult design team helped to judge the entries and then transformed the winning logo to the screen so that it could be used across all the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust marketing materials.

The logo is part of the organisation's 50th Anniversary Appeal aiming to raise £50,000 for Derbyshire Wildlife Fund in 2012 which will ensure the continued protection of the area's nature reserves for future generations. The appeal will run throughout the year to give as many people as possible the chance to get involved with fundraising activities and donate money.

Local actor Dominic West is supporting the appeal. Dominic was born in Sheffield and grew up in Derbyshire. He commented: "Derbyshire is my home county and is the best in the UK. Please support this appeal and help the Trust look after its wonderful nature reserves for all to enjoy."

Have a look at the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust website to find out how you can be more involved.
