Following a pitch, Katapult were appointed by Derbyshire County Council to develop a campaign targeted at addressing unfair perceptions of young people, many of whom are wrongly labelled as 'Yobs', 'Louts' and much worse. Working from the brief 'Don't label me', Katapult devised 'This is me', a concept which gave young people the opportunity to present themselves in a positive light, in a positive way. As well as developing the brand style for the campaign, Katapult produced a range of campaign materials including posters, press ads and a website.
'This is Me' won two awards at the 2008 CIPR Pride Awards for the Midlands. The campaign won a Gold Award in the Community Relations category and Silver for Best Use of Photography or Design.
