Existing client Nowcomm approached Katapult with a brief to target senior IT decision makers to raise awareness and interest of their network support services and solutions. In response, Katapult developed 'Network Hero', a campaign that took the form of highly targeted direct mail with telesales follow up and other marketing support. The centrepiece of the campaign was a personalised comic, placing the recipient as the 'Hero' in a storyline highlighting the typical issues that face network managers. As a call to action, recipients were invited to order a free, framed print of their personalised artwork.
Using a high impact visual style, the comic DM was designed to underline Nowcomm's understanding of the recipients' frustrations, demonstrate empathy and communicate with them in an engaging and entertaining manner. In addition, the campaign reinforced Nowcomm's positioning as a progressive and personable network partner that provide solutions beyond the standard. The campaign was extended with an online version as well as functionality to drive peer-to-peer sharing.
