Positioned as he is, with his seat set lower than a gangsta’s ride, it’s easy to literally overlook him when swapping recipes or sharing tips on tailoring but, boy, is he listening.

It’s almost as if he has a release catch on the base of his chair so that, when he is ready to chip in, he flicks it off and pops out from behind his desk as if propelled from an ejector seat. Then it all goes quiet again for an hour or so...
